I'd say 10 . . . yeah, 10 sounds like a good number this morning! We'll be great with or without a room. It's just something Scott and I have spoken about since last fall.

Too many young ones these days don't understand the importance of having good credit.

Scott and I may try and secure a TMS Hospitality Room for the 50th Anniversary in Charlotte (drinks and snacks) for Friday April 17th from 3pm-5pm at the Embassy Suites in Concord. The room may not be available and we weren't sure of interest so I wanted to post and gauge reception before final booking.

So . . . . any interest?
That sounds like fun and I'd be interested.......if I was going. But I'm not, so I don't care

You should have about 2 credit cards and from what i can recall from my finance classes it has to do with something called debt utilization. All that is, is that if you have a credit card and the limit is $3,500 and you have $3,150 charged on your credit card you are utilizing 90% of the available credit to you. By keeping a high debt on the one card will negatively impact your credit score or help stunt it's growth even if you do keep paying the amount every month.

Now if you take this $3,150 and spread it over 2 cards with a total credit limit of $7,000 you have now reduced your credit utilization to 45%. If I am remembering correctly you should be somewhere in the 10-30% range but then again carrying too many credit cards also negatively impacts your credit score as well and from what I remember reading 2 credit cards were the perfect amount. But this is just one of the multitude of reasons that can affect your credit score but this was one of them that jumped out at me. I am going to shut up soon :X

Did you make a thread about it? I am sure you would get a lot more people interested that way

Why does it all have to be so stupidly complicated?

"Do this but not to much of it, but still make sure it's enough or you can't do this. Just sorta of enough, but not too much enough, or enough will be too much enough, blah, blah, blah."

I'm stubborn as hell. I've got enough problems without drinking being one of them.

It's admirable that he doesn't drink. He's not wealthy, and drinking would drain his finances even further and wouldn't add much in return. Well, except the occasional hangover.

Wow I finally got a chance to sleep late. First chance to really sleep since last Monday. Slept 12hrs and feel so much better than I've felt in weeks. It's just too bad that I'm working tonight.
