You do realize that you are more prone to die in a car accident than in an airplane right Nathan?

Yes. But I'd rather die doing something I love than fall 35,000 feet out of the sky in a claustrophobic tube being controlled by someone I've never met.

Ya. You can die walking out the front door to your car. I just plain don't like being off the ground. Not scared of heights. Just not being attached to the ground.

The sad thing is while you are 35,000 - 40,000 feet off the ground it still feels like you are on the ground.

And in those last moments be as terrified as if you were falling 35,000 feet down.

Unless you're hitting crazy turbulence and the plane is swaying back and forth. There is no reasoning with the irrational mind!

All turbulence is, is a change in the motion of an air pocket and while it can be severe at times it is often harmless to the airplane it's self. In all honesty a bolt of lightning hitting the plane will do more harm then flying through turbulence. But because turbulence is such a disturbance to passengers airlines do their best to avoid it at all times.

Thank you for never making me want to fly again
