Hey Charlie,
better check your dvr so you don't miss NHRA. They interrupted right in the middle of it to go back to the rain delayed NASCAR race which just restarted.

I was riding around today and listening to Sirius 80's on 8 and heard some songs I haven't heard in years and it got me to thinking.
You know who I'd really like to see in concert (and this might come as a shock).
Prince. Yes, I said Prince. Hes a damned super talented musician (plays a ****load of instruments) great songwriter, and hell of a performer. An artist in every sense of the word. I bet he puts on a hell of a show.

I was busy putting 400 miles on race tires, twisty roads, show and autocross...
I have a Typhoon here at the shop....same friend has a Syclone as well...he is in the process of doing a 5.3 LS with twin turbos..keeping it awd.

Funny - I was sort of profiled in Portland Wednesday. Why I don't know. Maybe bushy white haired honkey in a Bullitt with a baseball cap on is suspicious? Got to the hotel early before check in so I drove around back to park in the shade (parallel to the curb). A few minutes later I see a Charger pull around the corner about 50' back. Stayed in the traffic lane in the sun so he wasn't just parking. Sat there 5-10 mins long enough to run the plates.
I had the door open to get air and he finally drove by and at least gave a wave. City cop. Don't know what that was about.

Hey Scott, Paul, etc. is 59 between Ft. Payne and Gadsden fixed yet? I hate that thump, thump, thump, concrete **** through there. They had everything shifted to the northbound side a few months ago when I came down, but it still sucked after you passed the new part. Just bump, bump, bump, bump. So tired of that **** coming through there.

Just saw this commercial, love it. Ford needs to be doing some ads like this, kick *** song, cool little story that everyone can identify with. I mean, didn't you guys always have an uncle like that? (FWIW, I am that uncle now.
