Yep you've got to provide your own ketchup! I take them back to my apartment and then dunk em! I'm down after Labor Day so most of the punks are gone and it is VERY relaxing! Don't forget to look for the Dolphins in the early AM and then late evening. :-)
True!!!
Oh definitely ketchup!
It's not good at all!
I'd rather use vinegar than listen to country music and I hate vinegar!

That would be weird for me to have a public pathway coming through between me and the beach. I'm used to just having the pool and beach and nobody but people that are staying there. But the whole place is gated and you have to have a bracelet or be with someone who does to be at the pools and decks to keep derelicts from coming down the beach and wandering in. Odd that they do it to keep out the riffraff, and I am the riffraff.

And I didn't see the dolphins as much this year as I usually do.

I actually just saw a report on the news this morning that they've found about 70 Atlantic Bottle Nose dolphins dead in the lower Chesapeake this year
I ate a dolphin fish that I caught in Aruba. It was about a 40 lb mahi. Of course not nearly as good a fish as the blue marlin my husband caught. But I still caught something
I'd love to check out more Florida beaches. I've only been to the beach in Boca Raton so far. I really want to go to Key West some day.

The Gulf coast is fantastic....makes OC feel like it's dirty and you don't want to go near the water. Of Course I'm not going in the water anyway with all the shark sightings.....I can blame my father for taking me to see Jaws at a young age and then terrifying me at Universal studios on the jaws ride....besides, I really don't feel like taking the chance that something wants to taste my flesh........but the beaches and water are gorgeous.

I saw that....something is really screwed up in the Chesapeake Eco system...that number of dead dolphins is alarming at best!

I think thre was a shark sighting while I was in OC. By the time I noticed what everyone was looking at, it was too far away. But there was only one fin sticking out of the water, closer to shore than the dolphins and a life guard on a four wheeler following it down the shoreline.
And I saw this report this morning of bull sharks found in southern MD

I love the beach but believe me, OC is not my first choice. It's just the most convenient. And I'll admit to Jaws scaring me when I was little too, lol.

I remember being in the water in Ocean City, MD and having a horseshoe crab crawl across my feet...of course you can't see anything in the water but not a pleasant feeling. In Ocean Isle Beach, NC we were swimming and one of our friends was surf fishing the next morning and caught a shark...no more water there. I'll just stick to pools thanks.....
