Yeah it was. I don't ever remember seeing both rear tires being blow off before.
Man Courtney nailed it with 4.025.
Maybe Ford can pull a 3 second run this year finally - those dang Dodges have pulled it off twice.

I really like Antron, always been a fan of his. Seeing him watching that last run of the finals last year and his reaction was awesome. Great moment in drag racing.

I'm thinking some parts must have blown out and popped the tires because we've seen plenty of explosions without tires going. He had cylinders on both side out at the same time.
And if you remember, the previous run damaged some pistons and rods almost punched through the crankcase. They said they didn't know for sure what caused that so they probably ran the same setup. And this time ka-boom!
