And i'm home!
Hard to evaluate in traffic, but they ride better that stock. Bumps I used to go over that had me all over the place now go smoothly.
The bad news is I got these to get rid of the vibration supposedly caused by worn tires. Still got the vibration at highway speeds and feels somewhat worse with the smoother riding tires.
Off to the dealer tomorrow to complain to them. I'm running out of time since I leave for vacation on Monday.

Wheels have some road rash but never had the vibration because of it. Drive shaft has been going through my mind.
Had always felt the vibration through the whole car. I still feel it through the whole car and now feel it in my feet more. Nothing in the steering wheel except for feeling the whole vehicle vibe.
Whatever it is I have the feeling i'm going to have to deal with it for my trip and keep it at the speed limit instead of flying at 75+ with the rest of the traffic.

It's a vibration and not a shake or shimmy? Is it in the steering wheel or seat or floor? Could be a wheel bearing if its a vibration and not a shake. Easy test is swerve side to side a little and see if the vibration gets better or worse. Could also be driveshaft or ujoints if its only at a certain speed.
To me it feels like a vibration. Could feel it in the seat and floor. Low speed is fine. Once you get up to above 60 is where you start to feel it.

While dr al is in the house, the sisters 04 v6 has been giving us some issues. We thought it was power steering box, but replaced and its almost worse.
Feels like a grinding like stretching a rubber band too far with an audible noise when you turn the wheel at low speed. Only dies it sometimes, got any ideas?

I think it's the inner tie rod, mine does it ( usually more when it's cooler out )

We changed that too, thinking the first time that's what it was. I would swear it was a bearing in the steering wheel if there was one.

Thanks for posting that. Let me know if it reaches out across your yard as far as the video does.
I've been using these Garrity's for 20 yrs. This LED is my second one, the first was halogen. When I bought it off ebay several years back they were already discontinued I think. For an LED it has decent range but for a more direct beam I need the Mag. But the things are indestructible.
I like this style because I loop a piece of bailing twine through the handle and wear it around my neck so I my hands are free for feeding horses.
Been dropped, kicked, snowed on, rained on, and they keep on working (not rated for outdoors lol). The weak spot is the sliding switch gets gummed up with hay crumbs. The LED version rarely needs recharging - maybe every 2-3 months and I used it every night.
So I'd like to find a LED that holds a direct beam way out.
I hesitate at tube flashlights because their lanyards are usually crap and there's no way to tie them around my neck. So let me know how the lanyard is.
I was amazed at the high priced LED's at NRA store and was concerned that they don't have a direct enough beam, though I love the white light of the little LED's. They just diffuse too quick.
I'd like one that reaches out 100 yards in a direct beam to make out horses in the pasture or see the barn at night in detail from the house.

Got the batteries and charger today, flashlight was in Atl. last time I checked. I'll let you know something when I get it. Probably be Friday, may come tomorrow.

Get her up to about 80 and just throw it in neutral. Let it coast down till the vibration stops. I'm thinking ujoints.

Spent the last two hours washing the truck down at the station. It needed it and it's not supposed to rain for a couple of days. Inside and out is now clean.
