I can't help it. I've been in the closet.

Not that closet, I'm a closet Mopar fan, always have been. As a matter of fact, I've also been looking at the new diesel Grand Cherokee to replace one of the Explorers when the time comes.

 

Hey - those Vipers are nothing to sneeze at for sure! Can't believe so many in your area. Ya'll must be filthy rich. And its not like Ford is going to do another GT. And screw Corvette.

 

Diesel grand Cherokee? Weird. The new grand Cherokee SRT is a sweet looking ride though.

 

Its a weird place when it comes to cars. People that have modest houses with huge amounts of land will have cars like that parked in the garage next to a tractor. And that dealership is owned by a car guy. Has a ****load of cars, always something interesting in there, and gets some of the most sought after stuff. Even though its in bumble**** podunk Ga., hes one of, if not the top volume dealers of Vipers and other SRT cars in the US. They supposedly have sold and shipped Vipers to all 50 states and multiple countries.

A few other oddities that show up there...

Literally a one of one Saleen (SMS) 570X Challenger in Molly Pop Pink with every option, including the forged, built, supercharged 700HP Hemi crate motor...

That color was an $18K option.





And to beat it all, it got ****ed up in the April 27th tornadoes. Bashed in the front fender, and scratched up a lot of the front end when the showroom was demolished. They left it like it was, didn't even try to fix it, would never match that paint. I think the dealership owner ended up keeping it for himself.

Yep, I thought the same thing, but it looks pretty impressive so far. Turbo 6 diesel, 420 ft/lbs of torque, and 30 mpg in a full size true 4wd SUV sounds pretty interesting.

 

Well this place went to poo really quick.

 

Ban me, but I love the classic mopar.

 

Oddly enough, like father like son, again. Those old Mopars were the wickedest sounding beasts around. A built big block Mopar had a sound that was unmatched, just ground shaking. And when they were running, they were running away from everything. Of course, that is when they were running and not broke down.
