I never understood that. People build huge houses on little tiny pieces of property. Just like these fancy subdivisions, $500K house on a 1/4 or 1/2 acre of land with 5 more houses on either side of it. Eff that, if I had to make a choice, I'll take more land/less house any day of the week.
