I love the freedom of flip flops. I can just slip them on and go out the door. Rather than have to bend over to slip on something else and tie them. Too much of a pain in the butt (not literally ).

I never owned a pair of flip flops until recently. The only time I wear them is between the hotel to the beach when on vacation, and at home going out to the pool. Even then I can't walk in the stupid things and I walk right out of them!

Hey Jill, was one of your kids into skateboarding? I think you may have mentioned that a few years ago but i'm not sure.

Anywho, look what they are doing at OC...

I only wear Adidas flip flops. And I won't wear the ones with the strap between your toes. And absolutely no sandals. But that's just one of my many issues.

No, not my kids. They’ve never been into skateboarding. They like to watch the pros on tv, but that’s the extent of it.

This is the first time they have had the Dew Tour in OC. They did have it at Camden Yards for a few years, and I’m not sure exactly why they moved it. The revenue the tour will bring in is nice. Balto city is hosting the Grand Prix for the first time this year, so they will still have a nice chunk of revenue coming in, so they won’t miss out.

OK so I've mentioned I hate anything to do with lawn mowers. So I tried an electric string trimmer (low vibration on my arm) but this 1/2 acre of tall grass and weeds wore it out after 4 yrs. The dang thing was smokin' it was so hot!! Melted the spool to the hub.
So the landscaper guy at the pub says I've got to get a Stihl. Well I like Husky. I've got 2 of their chainsaws, an 18 and a pro 32. Man the anti-vibration on the pro is amazing. So I went with a Husky string trimmer. The vibration isn't bad but I can only do an hour or so because of my bad arm and then its numb for another hour.
So why Husqvarna? Another SMQ thing. On Any Sunday was bigger to me than Bullitt was. So I google SMQ's Husky for a pic. And I found this really cool site. Some great pics and lots of different cool articles. A lot of these pics I've never seen before.

Hmmm.... I wonder who it was then. They had a small set up a few years ago when I was there. This one looks pretty big. I'm surprised they would set up something like that on the beach, especially when they are spraying some sort of hard surface. I'll have to watch the webcams!!

Funny you should post about Steve McQueen, Charlie. I just saw an episode of Pawn Stars last night where a guy was trying to sell a motorcycle (Indian I think) that used to belong to Steve McQueen.

Dennis, I'm not sure who it was then. Definitely wasn't me. I'll miss the webcams for it this weekend. We are going camping to Knoebel's Amusement Park with a bunch of friends.
