Well underneath is still forest floor so there's sticks and limbs. I tried just safety glasses but still getting hit. My buddy gave me the hard hat/screen and chaps when I bought the little saw from him so its worked well for attacking weeds too.Funny, as I drop a row of these things, I can see why fallers get a rush out of dropping a row of trees... with another row to go!! hahaha
As for shorts, good luck with that.
