That's the one I got.

Does your bog a bit in mid-range? Mine starts great, idles great, revs great wide open. But there's a bit of a lag mid-range. Don't know if I need to tweak the carb for my altitude? Although there's only an idle and a wide open adjustment. Or is that how string trimmers are... pretty much gotta wind em up full throttle??
Seems like I have to blip the throttle a few times in mid range (more like its lean) to get it to full revs and then it cranks.

You know altitude may have something to do with it, but if you're not running your line trimmer at near full throttle that's to be expected.

Most people I know run them WOT, but I've never felt comfortable with that. I just run it as fast as I need to to cut whatever grass/weeds I'm cutting.

Now the main thing is to not let it sit too long unused, but you will definitely have to in winter. You will need to treat it like you do your other gas toys. And I think they sell carb kits for them because they do get clogged after a month or a few years, just depends.

It could be its just the centrifugal force winding up. Cause it bogs a bit more when there's more line out. Maybe its just a bit under powered? Like I say I've never had a gas one before so I'm not sure.

What I've been doing for gas for my small engines is buying pure gas and immediately adding the StaBil to it. That way whether the engines sit during the summer or winter there should be no varnish/gum issues. So far neither the 4 stroke or 2 stroke engines have had any problems.

Maybe so. Get those little ones. Maybe even the ones that pass out when startled. It would be good entertainment at least. Just walk out with an M80 and watch them all fall over. Win Win. I'm guessing that there aren't many mexicans living out your way.

But the good thing about a goat is that if you get tired of it, or in your case it freaks you out too bad, you can just dig a pit, build a good fire, let the coals get right, season that baby up and roast it all day, and invite your friends over for a feast.

I like my flip flops, but they've got the insert for the arch of your foot. and that about ends my open footwear.

So the landscaper guy at the pub says I've got to get a Stihl. Well I like Husky. I've got 2 of their chainsaws, an 18 and a pro 32. Man the anti-vibration on the pro is amazing. So I went with a Husky string trimmer. The vibration isn't bad but I can only do an hour or so because of my bad arm and then its numb for another hour.
So why Husqvarna? Another SMQ thing. On Any Sunday was bigger to me than Bullitt was. So I google SMQ's Husky for a pic. And I found this really cool site. Some great pics and lots of different cool articles. A lot of these pics I've never seen before.

If it were anyone else I would advise them to be careful working/doing anything outside, temps like that can overtake you quickly before you even realize it. But since its Nathan, there's really no worry about that happening.

To each their own but even when I was a little kid we made fun of boys in sandals. Seems kind of fruity. This isn't ancient Rome folks. We have shoes now.
did the same. you should have seen me in Europe when I was a kid. I had such a temper tantrum when my grandmother tried to buy me a pair.
