Its been there about 70 years, pretty cool place, and I don't even like oysters, but I like a lot of their other stuff. If you go, be sure to see the guys shucking oysters, its amazing to watch how good they are at it. I'd cut my friggin fingers off at they rate they go. I don't know if he's still there or not, but the one downtown used to have a guy that had been there for 40 years shucking oysters. I can't even imagine that kind of monotony.
I might have to make a trip to T-town then! I'll be sure to wear my Auburn hat. I love some oysters, the treasure ship in panama city used to make some of the best baked ones ive ever had. Baked in individual bowls with lemon butter and garlic and topped with cheddar mozerella and some other cheese if I remember right.

Edit: I am gonna have to look teh tuscaloosa one up, it may have been damaged in the april tornados.

You knew it burned last year didn't you? As far as I know, its not being rebuilt.

Like I said, I've never been to any of the other locations, so I don't know if they are as good as the one's in Mobile. I do know that the one downtown, and the one on the west side have always been great when I've been to them.

Yeah I heard that. I havent been to PC in years.. heck probably 6-7. Always gone north to the mountains since. Thats the one thing I looked forward to everytime i went down there was those oysters. From now on though my destination will be Orange Beach just cause i got a buddy living down there whose dad is on some great deep sea fishing. http://www.gulfcoastcaptains.com/

They went out sunday for some reds and basically went out 22 miles, fished 2 hours and came back before catching their quota. They ran out of room on the boat to put fish.

Darn what a problem to have.

I'm just not into fish or seafood so I wouldn't know. Maybe it's cause it looks like it's bleeding to me.

I like Orange beach and that area. I used to have a place in Gulf Shores.

**** right! I'm not a huge fish eater, but I freaking love red snapper and grouper, especially fresh on the Gulf.

Im not a huge fish eater either. I much prefer shellfish. However, ill tear up some of the stuff you listed above, but my true love with fins is tuna. I am gonna go out with these guys hopefully next year for some deep water yellow fins. Its about 65-100 miles out and is an overnight trip. Im all for it as well.

Heres a 80lb yellowfin they caught.

That's a high dollar fish right there, but I don't care much for tuna. I'll probably never be able to go out fishing on the Gulf again after an experience I had years ago.

We finally got some rain today. About 5 minutes worth. Some nasty storms just to the north right now though. Reports of 70mph winds, over 1000 lightning strikes recorded in 5 minutes, and golf ball to baseball sized hail.

This was just a little one that mostly missed us, but its been raining here all day. Supposed to be an inch to an inch and a half around here with up to five inches to the south. The severe weather is supposed to hit us Monday.

My brother in law is out on the ocean almost every weekend. When he goes looking for tuna, they are 200 pound plus! Here is a sample of a catch they got...
