Took the GT in and they said its some sensor that has to do with the igniton. $65 for the part plus labor. My dad talked to them so that's all I know.

Got it back now. They said it was the cam sensor....they also said I need a new rear O2 sensor because the wire is burnt. Does that even matter if I can turn them off with the tuner?

It might. Depending on what wire is burned. I would replace it just to be safe.

Ok they said they couldn't find one available nearby, so to bring it back in next week and they'd do it for me quick. I could do it myself, but it'd be a whole lot less of a pain and take a lot less time to have someone else do it.

That's for **** sure, especially considering that the o2 sensor is screwed into the exhaust.

Yeah. You could get most shops to do it. Aftermarket ones are usually made by the same company anyways.

At the drive-in waiting for the movie to start... And for my 14 month old to stop crying and go to sleep.

Ok, I couldn't remember which O2 sensor they said it was, so I jacked up the car and crawled underneath and they all looked fine to me. There is some black tape on them from when I attempted to put in the crappy mil eliminators, but nothing that looks burnt. I'll go back monday and ask them what they were talking about. I still need to pay for what they did today since he told me just to wait until they put the new O2 in...

How am I supposed to afford that? Wait, don't answer that.
You can ask your dad for the money to get one Nathan. Just tell him that you are just trying to help him out by getting it for you guys.
