Already feels like fall here. There's even a few trees turning.

We went from winter straight to 90s for a couple months. Then once august hit, it's been barely making it into the 80s. August is supposed to be one of the hottest months of the year. Wow, made it up to 72. I hate fall. Season of death.

I love fall (at least here in the South). Of course our fall consists of 80's up into late October or even November sometimes. But I do hate winter.

Fall is the season of harvest. Winter is the season of cleansing. Nothing dies, it goes to sleep. Then is reborn in Spring. If you miss greenage in winter, plant pine trees.

We got tons of pine trees around. Doesn't help being covered in snow. There's just nothing to look forward to in the fall but six months of winter.

103 here at 7:00

We've been over 100 for several weeks in a row.

Can you spare some rain, brother?

Besides the storm last week, rain has been minimal lately. It was hotter earlier though. Swamp *** anyone?

We've been lacking in the rain department too. Other than one good soaking rain Saturday night, we have only had a couple of quick ten minute showers finally in the last few of days but it's not nearly enough.

100 degrees for five inches of rain. Deal.

I noticed that while I was in DC. Grass was so brown. We've had way too much rain this summer. Cut the grass one day and have to do it again a couple days later.

My dad had just finished mowing here before it rained last weekend.
