I can appreciate that. I recently got a 2000 R and I have a dilemma every time I drive it. Not that it's so valuable that I fear wrecking it, but that it's so rare a wreck would ruin the car forever and there would be one less R in the world, which would be a bad thing.

Number one rule is retain momentum. After your first past you could tell where the soft/wet spots were and you can then maneuver around them. Lastly the grass helps. Grass is a binder, so you have a better chanced at getting grip through the grass than through the straight mud. Plus the grass roots will act like surface tension to keep your tires up out of the slop.

If you think your getting stuck be sure and keep those back tires moving until you actually are stuck. If you stop you will definitely be stuck!
There's probably 6 inches of crap under that grass, and honestly I loved sliding haha It's so fun being sideways but driving straight.

You've pretty much re-inforced my ideas for off roading I keep my wheels spinning between 20-25 mph when I don't have any grip. Second gear, and go. Just more excuse to get better tires

Haha I have purposely gotten stuck for that reason

JK! I just made her think I was stuck

So how are those tires holding up against flat spotting? And, how far off is your speedo from that? I need to keep mine right on because the gas gauge doesn't work

I'm not sure how far off the speedo is. The stock setup was 265/70s I think, and this is 32's of course.

Tire are in great shape. Shippings gonna be a ***** though.

When I got the SVT wheels/tires they sent them in pairs. They were face to facenand strapped together with metal bands and they sent them via FedEx Ground. FedEx Ground has good prices I think. But when they were strapped like that nothing could hurt them other than a puncture.

Shipping is gonna be the only thing that may stop me. If I can get the same tires cheaper around here, you're SOL

I didn't know your stock size was different. 265/75/15 is 31x10.50, so you're speedometer is probably still real close. More stuffs to look in to

Really surprised how well the zaino helped with washing the GT tonight. I've never seen water bead up like that and roll right off the car even with a full detail. And that's with just one coat of Z5. Gonna do a full detail hopefully next weekend.

It is. I bought one thing of Z-PC and one thing of Z5, and it was $40 shipped plus the free applicator pad they threw in. Supposed to last a while though. Hopefully. The GT's paint could really use some help and I'm hoping this does the job. The meguiars never lasted more than a couple weeks though it did look pretty good.

I'd rather buy one now while they're in stock than wish I would would have when they're out. Besides, lows are in the 40s up in northern MN.

Why'd the sore pecker cross the road?
