Wow!!! Small freakin' world.

I talked to that guy last month at the Hot Rod Power Tour!! I thought of you when I noticed he was from Mn.

Look about half way down the row on the left and you can see the front of the car.....

and here is the engine pic I took while chatting with him....

That is kind of freaky for both of us to see the same car a 1000 miles apart.

I didn't have any. I'll have my full share in a little over a month though.

That is pretty sweet!! There was no one around when I took the pic. It was parked with some DB Performance cars though which is a local shop around here.

He was a tall, thin, older guy, probably 60ish. Very friendly. Said he didn't tell his wife he bought the blower, just took it to one of his friends and dropped it off for him to install, lol. Said she asked where the car was after it had been gone for a few days, and he finally told her. She was pissed until she rode in it.

I'm studying for my GMAT exam, algebra and geometry are kicking my tail down the street. What does geometry have to do with a graduate school business management exam? ugh

I did get Sophia washed up though. She looks really good. I had several people come by as I was washing her asking me about it, one guy was like "daaaayum I love the color!" Another kid came up to look at it, I gave him the "stay in school, and you can get one yourself" speech. Weird thing is, as soon as he turned around to leave, his little league jersey had the name of the company I work for as their sponsor, haha.

The paint is chipping off of mine though so I never really installed it.

I've never had a storm like this go right over me. I just wish I had a better view of it all. The dumb pine trees behind us block off the western sky. They do help keep the wind down though, which I guess is a better thing.

Unless they are tall enough to reach the house if they fall. After that storm we had last year that blew down a bunch of trees that I posted pics of, I cut down about 40 big ones that were tall enough to reach the house.

These were bad news, they would have cut though the house like a hot knife through butter. Loblolly pines, some of them were over 4 feet in diameter at the base and over 100 feet tall.

The third one was a bit weird, I pulled up to a stop light, took off like normal, and I guess because of my loud exhaust the idiot thought I was racing him. it was one of those civic coupes, with the exhaust, those stupid stickers on the headlights, and a ridiculous looking krylon black paint job (what kind of dumba$$ does that ). Well we got stopped at the next light aside of each other, I just nailed it through first and left him like he was tied to a light pole or something. He came flying past me a little while later, clearly embaraassed. It was a hell of a laugh for me.

I thought we called them things "hurricanes"

Or water spouts. Either way, glad it's not happening over here!

And good news! Tomorrow I'm goin' to look at a diamond plate tool box for the truck. $85 bucks, lock works, has key, chrome diamond plate, just gotta see how many scratches and stuff are on it; ya know, see how well it blends in with the god knows how old diamond plate bed rail covers!
Hurricanes are very large and last hours, the thing I'm talking about is called "tromba marina" or marine typhoon. It's identical to a tornado, but forms in the middle of the sea and last just a few mins.
