I been thinking about it, actually. But I'm gonna get in a lot better shape before doing more thinking

Congrats Sean.

We won tonight too. 39-22. It was the first game ever for the new West High School here. Regan is a freshman there on the dance team so I went to the game to watch her and see some high school football after all these years. I had a blast. I never knew how much I missed watching live games. High school football kicks ***!

I drilled into the floor.

I secured them with L brackets from Lowe's. The brackets were about 3/4" wide and about 2" long both ways. It took two screws into the cabinets at all four corners and then two self tapping screws into the floor pan of teh car. I drilled pilot holes into the car and made sure first that there was nothing under where I was drilling, like a fuel line or wire.

I'll find a pic. If you don't mount them securely to the car they are very dangerous in an accident. I'd hate to have it come flying through the back seat and hurt you.

The box doesn't fit though because of the seat frame, but still. It's been bouncing up and down as of late when I go over bumps. I had it in there with some straps, but the screws started tearing out of the box. I probably need a whole new box. It's just a cheap ebay one that I never got around to replacing.

That is such a clean setup...

With my luck, I'd probably drill into a gas line and go kaboom.

If it was really clean it would still be in the car.

You'd be surprised how few things are under these cars in that area. You just check it first.

Plus you can choke up on the drill bit in the drill chuck. Make it where it only sticks out an inch or so and that way you don't have to worry about the bit going so far through.

There's something wrong with that picture Gary, there's not a drink sitting on the end table next to you.

since we're on the subject, when I do my stereo install this winter, I wanna dynamat the entire floor of the cabin, good idea or no?

my friends that ride in the back complain heavily about the noise, and I figure that if I wanna hear the noise I can always put the windows down.

I wanna go for fantastic sound quality, not just the boom boom, so the dynamat should keep the noise out and the noise in.

any idea how much I'll need?

What is Menards anyway? I always see it on NASCAR as a sponsor of Paul Menard.
