Well I'm cursed.


My AC on my SOLD house isn't working. Son of a mother ****er!

Plus I spent all day yesterday and part of today working up a bid for some flakes that blew me off.

Today sucked. I blew my whole weekend on these people and now I only have two weekends left for moving.

That reminds me of this company we did some retirement homes for. They had a large retirement condo high rise in New Orleans. We didn't do the job, but I heard about it from teh company VP. The building was 7 stories tall. He was first on the scene after Katrina. He climbed the stairs to the roof and the units were gone. Somebody had stole them in just a matter of days. Now short of a large construction crane or a helicopter, how the heck did they get those off the roof.


They have no idea where they went and nothing was ever found.

Like 50's (I thought 60's) housing projects in St. Louis "Pruitt Igoe". The "recipient's" pulled copper pipe & copper wire out of the walls of "their home" and sold it for scrap for drugs and booze, etc. Think World Champs Leon & Michael Spinks...

We have about 6 weeks to go I think. We should finish by the end of June right on schedule.

They interior is painted and electrical fixtures go in this week. AC is already in but no operational till electricians are done. Exterior is complete, but we are only supppose to do a parking lot and no landscaping or sod.
