I got an A- on my history final. Also got one on one of my papers, and a B+ on my midterm and the other paper. Not sure how they got an overall grade of B out of that.

What was weird was growing up in the 60's when they were actually "air raid sirens". In place for Soviet nuke attacks. 
Strange to grow up under that constant threat.
Then they started the tornado warning system.
Spent many a night in St. Louis in the basement with that crackling am radio, sirens, lightnin' & tunder!! No thank you!!

I get done with school and I become a slave. I don't mind going to work, but my parents are taking full advantage of me. There's a mustang cruise this weekend, but no I probably won't be going because I'm stuck home cleaning out the garage because someone can't clean up after them self. Now tomorrow I'm stuck home watching kids all day and my sister is taking the mustang to work. I need to go get a life before I get driven any farther into this hole.

I don't have a life, but at least I don't get stuck doing other stuff either... Usually. I actually gotta start cleaning out the cellar. Junk has piled up and a dumpster is coming in few weeks. Right now my garage has no Mustang in it, so it's becoming a junk collector. I need a job soon.

You just need to sit them down and have an adult discussion. Let them know that you want to get out and explore life a little more now that you are an adult and get an idea of where you want to go on this journey. Let them know that you are grateful for everything they have done and don't mind helping them out, but you need some time for yourself as well.

I'll see what I can do. My dad just gets these strange ideas in his head. I'll wake up one morning and he'll tell me I'm doing such and such. Never bothers to think I might be busy with something else. Like today, I had to go to work because there was just so much for me to do. I go and there's maybe an hours worth of work. I'm not at all saying I'm ungrateful, but it'd be a heck of a lot easier if people would just get their act together.

Well a little update on the wife situation.............
She had a colonoscopy yesterday (or today for you peeps in the states) and the doctors are saying that it is just inflammed, but she is still in lots of pain and still pukey. The docs have her on steriods right now for it. The docs are trying to get her out of the hospital tommorrow. To me it sounds like there is something else wrong and they arent seeing it. So we shall see what will happen. Also they upped her pain meds to deal with the pain better.

Tommorrow her Dr will be in since he was off today. SO we hope that he sees something that they missed during the procedure. She has been puking so much that she is starting to puke up a little bit of blood as well due to the irritation from puking.
