Wow!

RE: your Dad. Mine was pretty extreme about that.

When I was in the mode of juggling/carrying weight of family, house, business, loans, pmts, repairs, fighting competition and the world, etc.; I finally got a glimpse of what my Dad may have been experiencing when he was like that.

Certainly I can't speak for your Dad or your home, but my hunch is that HE isn't feeling appreciated for all he's doing and accomplishing for the family. So he kind of lashes out of his frustration by loading down others.

Maybe time for random acts of kindness and expressions of appreciation and amazement for all he's pulling off?? (no not just on Fathers day cause its kind of expected on that day.)

Just a thought...

A second opinion will probably find out what's going on with her. Or a more extensive kind of test may be required?

That's also a good idea. Since I've been mainly in charge of everything here for some years, now I know what he has gone throughout the years. Now we talk a lot, and enjoy doing stuff together. When I'm feeling down, he closes in and gives me words of encouragement, like "I know what you're going through, just don't give up. Better things will come". Bring him something he enjoys or wants.

She is going to be getting out of the hospital either today or tommorrow. The doctors told her that they want her to see an agastroenterologist. They say that whatever is wrong with her they dont think that they can handle where she is at now.

It's all really complicated, but I don't think I'm gonna go into detail here. In short, I think my family needs to get organized and find a better way to work together, cause the ways things are now only maximizes the stress.

I've never been in a tornado, but we had an F3 a few miles from here a couple years ago, and I remember when I was about 8, there were some really bad straight-line winds that came through about a mile down the road. I always remember getting a lot of really bad storms when I was little. Way more than we do now. My neighbors had a couple willow trees in their yard, and every summer they kept getting smaller and smaller. It's not that I want a tornado to come through and destroy everything. It's that I love seeing the power storms can unleash. Someday I'd love to see one out in the middle of nowhere where it can do any damage.

Another update on the wife....................

I am still talking to her and they are discharging her form the hospital. The doctor prescribed her ALOT of pain meds and anti-nausea pills. So hopefully she can get to the specialist soon.

Yeah so do we. She already told me that she will go to the specialist when she moves back to TN/KY. That way she can go to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center where our daughter was born. They take care of their patience top notch and it is a place that you can trust.
