In other news I replaced the oil pan bolts on the Bronco with the correct sized stainless steel bolts and we shall see if she leaks as bad as before. I expect some leakage from this F series truck. At least that's what everyone says. But it was pretty bad with a bolt missing and a leaky pan plug.
The only thing I can see wrong now is that oil cooler is leaking around the hoses and the screw clamps are all corroded to heck. I think in thr future I'll remove that oil cooler and go to a an air cooled one. I also think I'll do an oil filter relocation as it is a major ***** to get at it above the frontd
differential and I beam.

Some were at least 3 full turns out. Most were 1 to 2 turns. Out of 22 bolts. 15 were loose and 1 was missing. The only snug ones were in the front where there was also no evidence of any leaking.

Happy B-Day Jim and WOW on the pics. Been watching the news and some areas are pretty bad. Love the huge sinkholes and people getting stuck and their cars floating away! I'm waiting for one of these newscasters wading in the water to fall into a manhole! hehehe
2nd worst March ever for rainfall. The worst goes back to 1955 and was because of some tropical storms back then.

Sometimes they make such areas a 'Disaster Declaration'. I don't think its grant money but maybe low interest loans to help repair?? Might keep your ears open... maybe 'elder' programs too...
When you say this, is this a concrete block basement? We used to seal block basement walls/foundations when I lived in Missouri with 1/3 lime, 1/3 cement, 1/3 sand. Hard to 'paint' on cause its like spreading thin cement, but it did the trick. And the lime makes it a nice white or you can do wall coverings afterwards. Just an idea...

It could be be from either flood damage, wreck, or theft recovery. Other than that
Happy Birthday Jim!!!!!!!!
Yeah most of their vehicles have salvage or rebuilt titles but they do get some cars with clean titles.

I wonder why my bolts keep loosening then... I'll figure it out when I take the pan off and replace the filter when the money comes round for a tranny service. Gotta keep her shiftin' good, yah know?
Mine has mechanical gauges I believe... They actually move!
It'll be 15 feet once you get a lift and sell me your 32s dirt cheap ray:
Was painting a supply room today. SO. MANY. F*CKING. NOOKS. AND. CRANNIES.
But made 62 bucks and have to do the floor tommorow

So at 3:30 this morning I get a phone call that my grandmothers basement has flooded again, but this time its bad. Last time was only about an inch. Now remember, her kitchen is in the basement. Here are the pics of the aftermath.
As you can see the water hit about 12 inches up the walls in the kitchen and in te actual basement part it was about 18-24 inches deep. We had 3 pumps running and they could not keep up. It was literally coming in through the walls of the basement. The front of here house was not accessible, her whole street was under water & so was the front of the house. The water was only about 4 feet from her back door. If it had gotten there it would have just poured right down the back stairs and into the house.
Crappy pics at night with my blackberry but you all get the idea, so it has been a very, very long day.

Bronco dash is in. All wires and harnesses are reconnected. Everything works properly except for the tach. Not sure where it gets it's readings from, but it just stays at 0. Not a big deal. Also the ABS light stays on just the same as it did before.
I took it for a drive and the tranny is shifting fine. No more limp mode. I've got all 4 gears.
All I need now is a good three day weekend this week to get thr interior back together.

Beautiful weather today, but now I have a sore throat. I don't know if it's allergies or if I'm getting sick. So many people around at school all of the sudden. It's like where in the hell did they all come from? Plus tons of people out protesting all over the place for I don't know what and others singing fuzzy wuzzy was a bear with their guitars. Then there were all these cops and firetrucks going somewhere, and the rumor is someone got hit by a bus.

Got the Bronco back on the road today. I'll get it inspected tomorrow so I'll be legal. Right now she's a two seater with no carpet. It's kind of cool.
I can't wait to lift it and get her finished.

I remember years ago, we were going for a leaf ride in the fall, and a turkey went running across the road ahead of us, and was headed for this white house on a hill. A few days later on the news we saw the same house, and learned a turkey had broken in and destroyed the place the same day we had gone for our ride.

class schedules need to f'n die!!!!!
I can't get any of the courses to work out like I want, there's only one option for most of them, and it basically ensures that I wont be able to work much, if at all, and to top it off, they've given the most worthless waste of space retarded excuse for a professor like 5 classes!
