Looks just like Bordeaux Red on all the other Fords. Anyone seen a pic of a Bordeaux Red Fusion or Taurus or Flex or anything next to a Lava Red Mustang?

paint codes are different UZ for mustang FQ for bordeaux red...

I thought same thing but Sparky said it is a different code than bordeaux. It has only been on 2012 mustang and 2010 F150 Haley Davidson edition

It is NOTHING like the Fusion Color at all. Neighbor just her Fusion, checked the door.......different code, FQ, and definately Plum hues. Scared the **** out of me when I saw it over there. Thought crap what did I do. The Lava, up close and personal has ZERO plum in it, and **** close to ZERO Red hues too. Wonder what the Motor Vehicle Departments will call it on our Registrations> "Red"??? Ya good luck with explaining that to the Cop that stops ya.

It reminds of Brownest red from 1979 we had our Mustang here's pain chip of it with 6 ,3.3 cin in it code is 3174

I'm all about Kona Blue but I like the Lava. It is a very interesting color
I bet Ford designers spent a lot of time discussing this one.
Still think they should have kept the silver as well.

Hey Frank. How bout a close up of the Fender Spear. Did they change the wording, I can't make out the supposed add on of any "Club of America" decal
