Who went with Lava Red??

Ordered my 2012 GT Premium on 1/3/10. 401A,3.73,Brembos,Glass Roof,Hood scoop and spoiler,,I also ordered the dark stainless grill and lower front fascia (like the C/S) with fog lights. I was set to order ebony but wanted a metallic paint. It was between Kona and Lava. I really hope I made the right choice. Anyone else choose Lava? I hope it doesnt look too purple in sunlight and is dark and shiny in the shade! Post pics if anyone gets any of the stang in Lava Please Interior is Blk with cashmere accent

I've been going back and forth between kona and lava myself, I really hope they have one at the detroit auto show so I can see it in person, if they do I assume people will throw pictures of it on here, if not I definitely will.

I wonder if the seats will be an insert similar to the 401a package, with a thin strip up the middle...

or similar to the F-150 HD?

Nice pics! I think the 400A comes with the black and lava (like the F150) and 2 tone doors. The 401A only had the blk and cashmere or grabber blue stripe. I went with the 401A. Both will be nice just personal preference. Check out these pics I found on another site of Lava Red. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...-harley-d.html

I really hope this color is shown at NAIAS. Had I waited for a '12, I may have considered this color with the black/cashmere 401A interior. I think with the Brembo wheels, this car will look great.

Here's a quick/horrible photoshop with brembo's, and a slight adjustment to the color...

Ok, it might be quick and horrible, but in my defense I am extremely busy and was lucky to find the time to make it at all. I had to take a lot of shortcuts. By the time I get around to making a better one, I fully expect that we will already have pics from Ford. Deysha from Ford customer service said that we should expect some real pics in February.

My bad... wasn't referring to your photoshopping... was just referring to the brembo wheels and quick color adjustment I did, was half asleep when I did it

Nice idea to put on the brembos. Those are better than the wheels that were on it.

The sterling was nice but I think the Brembo wheels look better with the dark colors. Looking forward to Deshay's pics! Or anyone else that posts a real one. Not a bad photoshop tho....lol

Went to my dealer today, Is the color on the photoshop car what the Lava Red is going to look like? The dealer has no idea and no paint chips. I heard this is the same color as on the HD F150s. I wanted a sterling gray which is disc for 2012, but if this is really a dark maroon/burgandy it will be the color I'll get, somewhat like my '65 FB Vintage Maroon. It will be a 5.0, 6 speed preminum, with security package, black interior, spoiler delete, 3.55 rear and not much else

I took this at the auto show on monday... I assume it is a custom paint color, but it has to be pretty darn close to lava red... I definitely want Lava Red, but ford doesn't allow this color on the V6 Premium Performance Package according to the order guide

the darker the better, my two all time favorite Mustang colors Vintage Burgandy and Dark Highland Green, seems like ford saves the green for their bullit cars , I will definately settle for the lava red.. breathing hard, hand shaking checkbook open.. looks like a Lava red, black interior, 6 speed 5.0, 3.55 rear, security package, preminum GT is going to be my first new mustang and it is about time been waiting 46 years for a new one! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
