Our Cars were ordered a week apart and mine was supposed to be built today so I hope I can pick mine up next week.

Good luck! For a while the trend was that cars were taking forever to ship but they seem to be coming in pretty quickly lately. My car was built on 6/9 and in my hands 1200 miles away 7 days later. I can't imagine it would take them nearly that long being that you're in Michigan!

Changing my mind
Two weeks ago I ordered a GT Premium
Grabber blue Charcoal /grabber blue interior
dealer installed black racing stripes
But I am leaning towards Lave red, I saw a v6
premium at the dealer in that color
Is it too late to change the order?
The one I ordered also has the accessory pkg 5
and for some reason the factory stripes were not
available with this combination.
How do you think white racing stripes would look on the
Lava red? and the charcoal/Cashnere seats
I also own a 1970 Monte Carlo that is black cherry
not quite as dark as lava but close, It is mistaken
for black in low light situations

At this point your only hope appears to buy from dealer stock, as Ford has stopped accepting orders for Lava Red. Don't know if it will be back for the 2013 models, but it will be replaced with Sterling Gray for the remainder of 2012.

I mentioned the info I got on this forum stating it was discontinued.
He checked with the person that does the ordering and he confirmed
that indeed it was not available.
It didn't matter, the order can not be changed because the car
has been scheduled for production.
Any opinions on white or black stripes on the grabber blue?

Just be aware that is just a dump of every photo I took so some didn't come out great. I'm going to borrow a much better camera once I get the windows tinted and will take a bunch more then.

Well Dealer called tonight and the Car is in. Will be picking it up tomorrow and hopefully if the weather holds out I'll have some pics up later this weekend. Now lets see if I get any sleep tonight.
