A little track day action at Atlanta Motorsports Park this weekend. It's a pretty neat track. The Boss did a great job.

Got to meet several other Boss owners who were great guys (which I've learned to expect over the last couple years).

Always fun meeting other Boss guys and comparing notes. Especially at the track!

My daughter wanted some laps, but her little sun dress and flip flops didn't pass tech.

There was too much of that jake-brake sound on decel with the pipes open for my taste, the 3/4" are a good compromise, at least for now.
Oh my lord that is sexy sounding! Still have the '13 GT500 quad axleback on?

I have the stock Boss exhaust, other than the 3/4" baffles.

Yeah, that might work. They have the street all torn up for construction around there now, though, it's a mess.

Same here we have sewer coming through and our roads are a mess! I gave her a bath and just took an epic mountain country drive and never touched 6th gear! It was a gorgeous 70* evening and Miss Scarlett was feeling her ponies. I went past this one pasture and this horse ran up to the fence and shook it's head up and down as I drove by!!! Absolutely epic!

This weekend the car is in the shop. Anyone had a problem with their hood rusting? (I have a 2012 Boss.) Started under the front lip and worked its way around to the outside. It's being stripped and painted under warranty.

Yep, Ive seen this happen to 2 2012 V6 mustangs. same hood as the Boss. They were both Black. They also had paint problems at the roof line where the front glass (windshield) meets. everything was repaired under warranty. If its a 2012 you may be out of warranty but still worth going to the dealer. On both cars the whole hood was repainted. GOOD LUCK

I have the same issue with the hood on my car. No such luck with the warranty however....

As explained to me, the hood has a steel lining and where the aluminum and steel mate, they are prone to rusting. Don't know if it's true, but I was told that it's a common problem with Mustangs and F-150s and that Ford knows about it, but hasn't taken any action. Fortunately, it's being covered under the 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.
