What have you done to/with your Boss 302 this week?
A favorite of the Boss Track Attack day taken by their photographer during the instructor follow (at turns 1st attitude, 2nd attitude, bad attitude).
Then they gave us a few hundred pictures on this.

I'm pleased to report that these new FRPP Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets (Part# M-5650-A) are 100% compatible with my previous suspension upgrades; including Steeda swaybar relocation brackets that allow my Weld RT-S 15"x10" wheels with M/T 295/55-15 Drag Radials to fit, Steeda Adjustable Swaybar, Steeda Adjustable UCA, BBR Billet LCAs, J&M Adjustable Panhard Bar.
Even though my Boss does not have lowering springs, the angle of LCAs allowed the car to squat too much during hard launches at the drag strip. These new brackets correct that and should result in improved 60ft times, plus work equally good on a road course.
before photo - showing LCA is slightly higher on the axle end, which isn't good.

Have not been on in a while but this is what I have been up to on my days off. Changed all 4 of those great stock speakers we got. Put in a 5 channel amp in case i want a speaker in the back for cruising days. Tints came next. Put in the Boss steeda springs, rides really nice! Installed the kooks headers with the catted kooks h-pipe, felt the torque difference right away and sounds awesome! First oil change was before the exhaust. Wife got pissed when she saw the bills. So.....done for about a month or so for now. Still love the car, keeps me sane!

It sure does, what I really wanted was to keep it all flat black and just have the colors of the tri bar show to make it really pop but the edges weren't sharp enough to have the plastidip cut out around the inside. All in all I really like how it turned out and was easier then sitting around doing nothing.

I just got back last night from the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Drove 700 miles each way, Boston to Detroit, arrived last Tues. night.
Did the mustang plant tour on Thur., the Dearborn Proving grounds on Fri, Mustang alley on Sat., and drove home yesterday.
Total of 1700 miles in 6 days, got about 22 mpg at 75+ with the AC on, and no tickets.

I had the clear bra installed (half hood, headlights, front splitter, rockers, side mirros, and bottom rear quarters). I took out the exhaust discs too. I had the 3/4 discs from Scott in there, but decided to run it open for a while. It's obnoxiously loud and fun!
I also clayed, polished, and waxed the Boss over the weekend. Pics of shiny here:

Swapped out the suspension on the Boss this past Friday:
*AST 4100 single adjustable dampers with 60mm coil-over springs
*Vorshlag Camber plates (the newer ones... already had the older ones on the car)
*Sphon adjustable panhard bar
*Ford Racing lower control arm relocation brackets
*Ford Racing rear lower control arms
Need to get an alignment and work on ride-height a little more (currently at 27.5" floor to fender at all 4 corners). Test fit my 18x10s with 305/650/18 Continentals and zero clearance issues.
Will head to Pueblo August 31 to shake it down and get the balance right (adjustable sways and shock settings).

Among late models, my 2012 Boss won 2nd place in a meeting at Grefrath/Germany this weekend
#1 was an 850hp Viper.
Monday was Autobahn day, 300 miles in roughly 4 hours, traffic was moderate, heat was exceptional (almost 100F).

Attending SCCA Solo2 National Championships in Lincoln, NE. There are actually 4 of us in ESP and all different colors (Kona, CO, RR, and White). Watch live timing to see how well we do tomorrow and Wed. 3rd run group starting on West course. Funny, all of us are running the same Enkei's with 315 Hoosier A6's.
