Car is built! Awaiting shipment.

Also have Q1 which is still on the train. Was notified that it has reached its finally train destination in IL. Now we'll see how long before it is shipped by truck the last 3-4 hours. Have missed multiple ETA's also and definitely well past the latest 6/14 time frame. Was built May 12. Hopefully this week but I am not holding my breath.

Hopefully they will contact you tomorrow and tell your car is at your dealership or at least this week. In my case it was in NJ only two days and ended coming in six days early. It seems to me, it varys when they want to release your car with no rhyme or reason !!!

We ALL go thru it Rick! My car sat at the rail "off point" for three days before getting on a truck to come to the dealer..LESS THAN 20 MILES FROM MY HOUSE!

You have been assigned an ETA the dealer (wisely) just never told you. Hope you get it soon!

Your latest ETA is Jul-01-2011, but I'm sure it'll be there this week. I'd say today or tomorrow!

Thanks for the support. This has been a very frustrating process but thanks to my salesperson and particularly you I have been able to keep my sanity. Thanks for all you do for us on the forum and I'll try and post pictures when I get the car!!

3 ETA's come and gone. No update since 06/09. FCR was supposed to have called me last Friday. Didn't happen. Wonder if they will actually do the 'follow up' call this Thursday as promised? It is not so much the wait as it is the lack of information and it's accuracy. Some people also seem to get quicker responses than others. All in all, not at all impressed with Ford's customer service.

Finally! Just got a PM from Deysha saying that it was loaded on a truck yesterday. Probably just going to the rail yard but at least it has moved.
Thanks, Deysha. You are appreciated!

FINALLY,the car arrived today! I first got on the highway, punched it and... almost nothing... stupid transport mode. Then when the odo read 12 miles, I turned and floored it in first (thinking transport mode was still on) and WOW did it take off. The sound is also incredible, the car is just plain fun to drive. Unfortuantely, my formerly-fun daily driver now feels like a dog.
I'm not going to lie, I'm still pretty upset with Ford that the car sat around fully built for two months waiting to be delivered, but it is definitely worth the wait.
