Thanks Deysha for all the updates. Finally got mine yesterday!!!1
Everyone else waiting, the car is definately worth the wait. BTW the transmission shifts perfect. Remember this is not a luxury sedan. The trans does what it is supposed to do. Firm positive short shifts. The car does exactly what you want it to do when you want to. It really brings up your conficence as a driver.

see my post from yesterday on this same thread. the 800 272 8777 number is for union pacific....though I believe that all rail carriers use the same rail car syntax so any carrier can actually track the car irrespective of who's got it. but mine's coming union pacific also...to Benicia...I suspect yours is also.

I actually got it from someone I know at Ford (I used to work there...ironically, my last job there was managing all of the inventory scheduling / flow to the western region of the US...that was about 15 years ago).
I believe the dealer can get it for you. Deysha (FCS) may also be able to...but I don't know.
a 'well-formed' # will look something like this: ETTX702385
oh mine's now 30 miles west of silver creek, NE...just kidding.

I don't know what's going on. Yesterday I got a call from Ford and have been assigned a case#. They are trying to determine why a car built on 4/20 is still sitting in Michigan with no update in the system for a shipping date or ETA even though it's been released from hold.
Stay tuned...the saga continues.

This is what my dealer just told me..
"My Ford contact just let me know that they are manually inspecting 100% of the Boss Mustangs and that is the slow down. It is simply based on where your car is in the line as to when it will be released. He said it could be tomorrow or two weeks. Sorry I can't get you a better answer, but they want to make sure it is perfect. Let you know as soon as I know something more."
Now my car was only built 2 weeks ago...not going on 2 months like some people. I don't have an answer for that nonsense

So are you never buying a Lincoln again either? If your car was built 5/20, that means you have until 7/20 to get the car for it to be 2 months? I get the waiting sucks. Mine was built 6 days after yours and I haven't heard anything yet either. I also don't expect a 2 week turn around. If that were the case I obviously wouldn't argue, but this isn't a mass produced car either.
