It would also be nice to find spring rates out for the front and rear springs. I know a lot are looking to aftermarket. It would be nice to know if you are replacing them with as good or better a spring then what is already on the car. Without having to go coil over.

I'm excited to see all the goodies you guys get for your GT's that are plucked from the parts catalog. I like where your heads are at!!

Got some new ones for ya:

CR3Z-6A642-AA : Boss oil cooler - $70.62 list
CR3Z-6N866-?? : Oil cooler hose - $56.95 list

I think there's more than just that needed, but that's the assembly for the motor. There are hoses and another plate that may be involved.

For the Boss 302 manifold, the hose from the pass. side PCV valve to the manifold

BR3Z-6K817-CB

Took this number right off a Boss 302 motor, but can't find it in the catalog. Dealer might be able to cross reference it.

Overboost - Hopefully you are well connected with the inner workings of Ford Racing and we do all certainly appreciate the help with the part numbers specific to our Boss's. Thanks very much.

With regards to wheels - The black painted wheels offered in the Ford Racing catalog page 188 (P/N M-1007-DC199LMBF, front) are "kind of" referred to as Boss wheels on page 21, but are still just listed as "New Parts For 2011". The wheel description on page 21 and detailed specifics on page 188 only refer to the wheels as "Black Ford Racing Front Wheel". Nothing to say they are specific to the Boss program only painted black.

If we get LS red painted wheels and want to change out to other Ford wheels (preferring to keep the same geometry as OE LS wheels) how can we confirm that the 169.3 mm backspacing and 42 mm offset of the black wheels is identical to that of the OE red painted wheel?

I have since found more complete documentation on the oil cooler setup. See my first post for details.

For those of you who ordered the trans cooling scoop: they should be on their way. I ordered one from Latemodel Restoration Supply (it was on backorder) and it is on its way to me now.

They are the exact same wheel except for the color difference. I should also point out that they are gloss black not matte black as stated in the catalog.

mwilson7 - Thanks very much for the response. Can you tell me HOW you know they are in fact exactly the same wheel except for paint? Are you the manufacturer? I really mean no disrespect here, just wanting to know your basis for saying the two wheels are identical sans paint. Thanks!

Is there much of a weight difference between the LS and Boss wheels? The LS are heavier than I had hoped at around 29/30 for F/R. We're still looking for the Boss wheels from Ford.

If he says it, it's true (at least with respect to Mustangs ).

Now that cars are in members hands we need to get the weight of the LS and Boss wheels. I'm pretty sure the LS wheels are 29 lbs for the front and 30 for the rear.

Part Number for blackout decklid cover? The CJ Pony one came with a laundry list of maintenance you need to do weekly to keep the magnet clean? I would imagine the BOSS one would not have such requirements?

It's listed in the first post.
