I think its just extra showie to be eye catching. I am hoping its not all going into production.

Here's another ugly one. Perhaps inspiration for Ford

 

Ford is hitting home runs with the vehicle performance, but they've left me cold with some of the styling choices. Canyon red as the only stripe color choice with the Performance Package? Another red (one that looks orange in the photos) randomly applied all over the Laguna Seca? I've decided to wait. Maybe they'll make some changes to the styling choices before CAFE mileage mandates take all of the fun out of it.

I just hope Ford works on the color combinations for the Boss. That Black LS has too much red for my liking.

 

am I the only one that thinks yellow blaze where the black is and black where the red is would be more then amazing???

 

Ford, I will buy one but it has to be black with silver accents or kona with silver accents and put the 70 stripes on it. Very very nice job!!!

 

I'm personally feeling the Competition Orange with black. I think it looks classic and just awesome. I want one now!

 

It seems sure as $hit to me that next year (2013) they'll update the look to 1970 and offer different (grabber) colors.

 

I agree. You know how it works. Give us ALMOST everything but not quite to leave some room for improvement and refinement.

Isn't this how Apple keeps people perpetually interested in it's products? Make them great but always hold back a few details that will make it even better next year.

 

IMO,,, the LS, looks like a cartoon, with those ridiculous color combinations, other than that, I need a car that I can use for normal in-town driving and still get my adrenaline rush,,so the Volume version for me.

I'm gonna get mine in either, RED & BLACK WHITE & BLACK YELLOW & BLACK>> then I'm gonna paint the roof, hood & spoiler the same color as the main color, replace the 69 stripe for a 70 version, and finally remove/replace the corny emblem in the grill for starters.

When details and rumors get clearer, if you plan on all that work you may want to just wait one more year. . .?

 

The hard performance parts are there but the color combinations leave me cold as well. I'm going to have to pare down my herd to find a place for the new Boss and I don't want a car with color schemes selected by god-knows-who. Come on Ford you are are ruining a beautiful work of art with ridiculous color combos. At least make the stripe package optional and please offer the Boss in Black not just the LS!

 

That's about how long the wait is now (one more year) (production is not planned until January for late spring arrival)

Ford did a great job and I'm just gonna make it more to my taste (Visually) shouldn't cost all that much to tweak it.

Anyway, I normally gravitate toward darker colors, but since black and dark green aren't options and Kona Blue looks too purple for me, I'd take a serious look at Competition Orange and Yellow Blaze, with the former being the preferred choice until I see pics of the latter.

Since I think all the Grabber colors look just terrible (excepting Grabber Blue which looks just okay), I doubt I'd have much incentive to wait for the 2013 Boss, if they are planning on going with the '70 look that year. Of course all of this is just hypothetical thinking on my part since I'll likely not be able afford any of them.
