The Boss is Back! 2012 Boss 302
#82
Just awesome! I'm not sold on the looks of the Laguna Seca model, but otherwise I am very impressed. I'm just curious about what the MSRP is going to be for these little brutes.
I'm a bit disappointed to see that a "neo"-Black Jade is not a color option and am surprised to see Grabber Blue isn't an option. Then again, whining too much about color options for the new Boss 302 is missing the point, I think.

This is Car and Drivers guess...
The 2012 Mustang Boss 302 and 302 Laguna Seca hit dealerships sometime in 2011 at a price yet to be determined. Figure around $36,000 for the base 302 and upwards of $40,000 for the Laguna Seca.

36k sounds like a STEAL for all that you get!
Any thoughts on if this will be a more than one year production? If I'm willing to pay MSRP what are the chances I could actually get one?

Yes, show patience! Every hot mustang ford has made has easily been had for MSRP if not considerably less. You might get a 2012, 2013 Boss who knows. Ford has stated nothing of production #'s. They have increased production #'s on many in demand S.E. in the past.

I was thinking about this too. Does NOT appear so. Look at the pictures on autoblog. First, the instrument panel only shows two aux gauges, and if you look at one of the pics of the drivers seat, you can see the metal adjustment level in the lower left hand corner of the pic. This indicates that the Boss begins life as a base GT model, to include the cloth seats which are still used. So no shaker, SYNC, or sat radio. That's not cool, but I think it's worth it for what you get in return. As far as the wheels, dunno. Wouldn't expect anything different than what we see here.
