2012 Boss 302
#262
I remember early rumors that the Boss Engine would become the standard GT engine after a few years (like the Bulitt Engine was for 2010). if this is true, I see the Boss being closer to the Bulitt than a Cobra R in terms of production.

Remember, the "R's" were competition models, designed and built with the intent of them being used as race cars. You supposedly needed a competition liscence to buy one of the 2000 R's.
Currently, that market is already taken care of with the Boss R's and the FR-500's still running around.
That said, let the Boss R's run and prove out how good the parts are that should be on our street versions...
Ford: make as many as you get orders for. I can wait.

Maybe, if you're not someone who has literally waiting their entire driving life praying for a new Boss to come out and you've found out that there IS going to be one and there ARE people who know stuff about it but CAN'T/WON'T share what they know. Maybe then, it's pretty funny.
