Why do auto writers continually use the phrase "worst kept secret in the auto industry"? Oh that's right, they're journalists. Never mind. I've got some pretty good secrets you might be interested in. Maybe next month I'll share if you never use that phrase again.

While I personally would be interested in a "base" type model - think those days are pretty much gone. While old age has spoiled me to the extent that A/C would probably be my only non-performance option, cars at all price levels are coming more "loaded" every year.

I'm right with you on that account! The car still has to be streetable and that is the one drawback (IMHO) of the R models. Without A/C, driving to and from the track isn't going to happen.
