I could see 450... maybe if Ford was pulling out the stops and trying to put the smack down on the Camaro or maybe try and future proof the next gen car.

I'm almost certain the F6 will have the same power plant as the vette "missing" a few horsepower to keep the vette guys from spitting coffee and getting their knickers in a twist.

I'm hoping for a mix between the f-150 and fusion.

Here's some info from a reliable source:

2016 GT 350 500+ NA HP. Supposed to be a track monster and Z28 killer, etc...

We will see.....

500-600hp has been the clack so far for the Voodoo engine.

Being the pessimist that I am, I'm thinking around 500hp

Been floating around for awhile, supposedly a naturally aspirated 5.3 - 5.4 liter V8 with a flat plane crankshaft that can turn more rpm than the coyote or road runner engines.

Just Google Ford Voodoo engine.

Per the leaked survey in another thread:

3.7 V6 - 300hp/290tq
2.3 GTDI I4 - 310hp/310tq
5.0 V8 - 430hp/396tq

Not much said on Voodoo at this point, but don't expect it to have any sort of forced induction on it.

Probably get crucified for saying this. But isn't 430HP enough? It's getting to the point that the power isn't even usable unless on a track. And in that case I'd be modding the car anyways.

I say keep the horsepower around where it is in the GT. Focus on efficiency, weight, and driving dynamics. The second one being the new horsepower war.

Plus, efficiency is what's gonna keep the mustang around for the foreseeable future. Not more and more HP. Government standards are a *****.

I almost agree with you. I might be put on the cross next to you. But I read it was going to be around 500hp for the GT. That's a lot of power for a GT. GTs seem to be becoming a higher end mustang and not the easy on the pocket rocket.
