No. The Fusion is the sedan version of the Mustang.

Ford really has a tough job here trying to please us all. They should just make it as stunning as they can with performance to match and stop listening to our conflicting suggestions.

I'm a big BMW fan (but a much BIGGER Mustang fan) so I can't wait to see these two sizing up to each other next year!

Thanks to euro laws, the mustang has no bumper, I think it going to look very face flat from the side profile compared to current model.

Time to whip up rear plate surrounds that say "you just got owned by a Mustang".

Agreed...if there was'nt a Fusion...it would be descibed as EVOesgue or
AM VANTAGEesgue etc.
Im cautiously optomistic...cant wait...enjoying the striptease.

On the other hand, you have the C7, which if you've seen it in person looks like a Ferrari and handles like one too. At 460hp the power really should have been closer to 500 than 450 but it's still very respectable. The Z06 version will bring the heat against the best anything from Italy has to offer under $300,000.
The Vette looks like a Ferrari with too much exposed plastic. Cheapens the whole car, especially in lighter shades.

Of all the renders I've seen, that is the best tail IMO. I've had that on my Windows desktop for 4 months now.

The tail will be straight from the clay model we seen previously. The camo cars look exactly rounded like the clay model back.

agree 100% by this time next year the average buyer wont know which car came out first, i expect sales people will hear customers talking about how ford made the fusion look like the mustang.

personally i dont mind at all the merging of the styling elements. the fusion is recognized for being a pretty aggressive design for a midsize sedan and the mustang looks like its gonna turn that styling up a few notches. the mustang is going to share less with the fusion than the M4 shares with the 320i.

well done so far, cant wait to see the rest of the car

I love the front fascia. I'm going to start saving some pennies.

Under the camo it is very clear that the sides will have a big radius/ rounded corners like the clay model shown above. Unless yet again they padded it underneath that it looks that way, who knows.
