I don't know about you, but some of my favorite Fords are overseas exclusives. This is a global economy, with many Mustang enthusiasts across the world who too, want the Mustang to be Mustang.

It must be brash in every possible way.

Let's wait and see what the car looks like before we start accusing them "foreigners" of "taking our Mustangs" and getting the pitch forks out.

If some of you don't know what is a American styling, please look at a 370z and then a Mustang..

It seems like the modern consumer has a very narrow, and sometimes ignorant, view of what the Mustang is.

Yea, after all this time, this is still my favorite design. There are other excellent possibilities show here, but Burning Man's render is still the tops for me.

Be careful of what you wish for, American styling has birthed many abominations and beauties, though European styling is not immune from this either.
As mentioned many times, the original Mustang, to go back to its founding DNA, did meld a lot of European themes and ideas not only in the styling, but also in the very concept of a modestly-sized 2+2 sport coupe, what with an emphasis on a more balanced performance envelope rather than simple blunderbuss acceleration as evidenced by its smallish, high-winding 260/289 V8.
Should the Stang return to some European stylistic strains and emphasize an even more well-balanced performance suite, that would in fact represent a return to its roots, not a betrayal of them.
