Deysha, cotus updated my delivery to 6/17 after showing no delivery since passing the earlier eta of 6/12. Do you have more info on this? Was it picked up by a truck?

I'm still in Awaiting Shipment since my vehicle was built on June 01. Come on, get this baby on a train! Cotus still shows an EDD of 6/20. That's not happening unless they fly my car to NJ. Uggh.

 

Thanks Deysha. Is there anyway to track the truck stops or where it is. Gosh I'm behaving like a two year old.

After owning this car for almost a month, i figured i would stop by and let everyone know its still going great!
Just under 800 miles on it so far.

 

Took delivery yesterday. Still can't believe it's finally mine. Thank you Deysha for tolerating me. I've been a pain I know. I sent you a little something to the mailing address that you gave me. Do let me know when you get it!

 

Ordered 4/17 and finally this week it shows up in Cotus. Bad news no EBD yet but a EDD of 8/25.

Does that mean it will be a 2016 instead of a 2015?
If so does that mean the 50th anniversary package will not be an option and I need to get my dealer to change the order?
If the order has to be changed will that push the EDD out even farther?

Oh boy... the dealer called yesterday to say that the Black Mustang has arrived!! This is 6 days ahead of schedule. It's so tempting to take the Black one vs. waiting until mid-August for the Ruby Red Mustang.

We're going to drive up there this afternoon to look at the Black one. I'm so torn..

 

Look at it dirty and unwashed and ask yourself if you could live with that without washing it every other day.

 

What color is yours?

My very first Mustang (2000) was Black. I don't recall it bothering me that much. I also live in a state where we get quite a bit of rain, so it will be dirty 8 months out of the year anyway. LOL

IDK... I'm going to have the dealer park the Black and Ruby Red side by side and really think about this. I just want to make sure that I will be happy with the color that I select. This is a big deal for me, as I got the 50th anniversary appearance package in honor of turning 50 this year.

 

Mine is Oxford White. Even though it's white it does show dust picked up on rides out in the country and also makes bug splatter very visible.


When I owned my one and only black car years ago, I could not stand it looking dirty and it was not a sports car.

 

Starting to feel like a little kid at Christmas and Santa didn't show up. Cotus often updates on Thursday night so I was looking forward to a change in status today. But alas, I'm still awaiting shipment for 18 days now. Feels like this car is never going to get here. Yesterday was 9 weeks since I placed my order.

 

My very first post on here was showing that my car was going to be Black. Then 6 days later, I changed my mind on the color and the dealer ordered mine in Ruby Red. So, I have been following both cars on COTUS.

Then the sales guy calls us on Wednesday to say that the Black car is there!! He wanted to let us know, in case I still wanted that one. Well, since I have been "waffling" on the color from day one, we decided to drive up there and see it in person. Wow! What a beautiful car! The sales guy knew that I was struggling with the color, so he parked a Ruby Red one right next to the Black for me. I still wasn't sure. So, my hubby, daughter and I went and had some dinner so I could mull it over. When we got back to the dealer, I was still undecided! I love both colors! Can't I just get them both?! LOL

Well... I chose the Black! That color just really "spoke" to me. They got her all cleaned up for me, put a full tank of gas in her, and a few hours later, I was driving her to her new home. My daughter was super excited to ride home with me. I just wish it hadn't decided to rain! But, I got her home safely, an she's parked in the "barn" right next to her '09 brilliant silver GT sibling.

Car was ordered on May 13th and arrived at the dealer on June 17th. Wow! Oh, and only 4 miles on her!! I can honestly say, that after my indecisiveness over the past month, I'm very happy with my color decision.

I want to give a huge shout out to the dealer and sales guy that we dealt with. I would recommend them in a heart beat!
