Hey Kelty, what else does the track pack include besides the racing buckets, brembo brakes and Thorsen rear end? There is one for sale 250 miles away with 5k miles...

 

You get the boss 302 radiator an,oil cooler custom tune for the traction control aND the track app in the display. As well as 19" wheels and good extreme summer tires. Oh and no spare tire just a pump and fix a flat lol

 

Oh yeah gt500 rear lower control arms.

It is a shame because I really like the car. But I do not allow people or businesses to treat me in this manner. The line has to be drawn and enforced. Any less and we lack the courage of our convictions.

Sadly enough, I may be looking to replace a mustang with another one because I am simply not interested in another vehicle, at least at the moment.

 

Man I feel your pain. Mine is still vibration free. Taking it on a road trip this week and will see how she does. There is a whine at 80-85 but I am 1/2 way thinking if the vibration stays away I will take it apart and fix it right myself to get rid o the whine

Farside I don't know that I,would bother with that Track Pack you found. It has the 373 gears as well

 

I will not test drive one without them because even if I buy one with another ratio, I want 3.73's in it eventually anyway. I love the power band. Besides which, any taller gears and I will have to run it to 80 or 90 to insure there are no vibrations.

With 3.73's, I take it to 70 and I know for certain.

 

Day 30.

I know an FSE spoke to the tech by phone yesterday. That would make the second time.

My specific conditions were that the FSE be scheduled to come look at the car. I expect to see it in writing.

I am just completely skeptical that it will be met. But who knows? Maybe they will surprise me...

 

Does this happen with all track pack cars?? I think I have the same issue. I have 3.73 and track pack and my car shakes above 70mph. I changed tires, had the balancer check the tires twice coz I thought it was that but it was not. So.. What is the outcome so far??

 

After gears and all bearings mine is smooth other than a whine at 80-85. A ton of people have this issue I bet it is all,track packs or 373 just some don't care or mod it away

 

For the record, my car is not a track pack car, but does have factory 373 gears.

I would call Leon and tell him to start their internal buy back program if that does not meet your expectations you can find a Lemon Law lawyer to take the case. The best part is if they dont get a settlement that makes you happy then its free if they do then Ford has to pay them not you.
