Hi all,

I want to gauge interest on a leather armrest that goes over the cup holder panel. It's functional since it prevents your elbow from hitting the release button and definitely more comfortable than resting your hand on the hard plastic or grooves.

If there's enough interest I could take the time to make it happen. It'll most likely cost around $175 (shipping not included) as there is more labor and materials involved. Installation from your end takes 1 second...just slide it on and go.

This armrest provides both function and form and will be more visible than the rear piece. I might make the rear piece also just so that it looks like a set but I want to keep costs down and focus on the armrest since it enhances the driving experience. Let me know, thanks.

 

I use my cup holders, sometimes just to hold my cell phone. Would not want to cover it up. Sorry I would be out for that one. Would like the one for the back end if nice leather like the 401a cars...

 

I'd have to see a demo pic. I know that's a lousy answer but I'm really particular when it comes to my baby, er, um , I mean car.

I hear ya, love my car too. If you drive a manual especially in city traffic like me your arm will thank you big time. I made this to serve as comfort more than eye candy so seeing is not really believing but it'll have to do for now.

Not sure if they are still around after all these years.
