Did you get Cluster Cruise Illumunation to work? I OK leaving my 2012 Cruise switch in there ....

So it sounds like you have everything working for Manual Transmission cars except for the Track Apps ... When I do get to buy the dongle??

I have already outlined how to wire the d pad earlier in this thread for you. Easy. Just need to add some wires and the proper pins ( which I salvaged from my old dash harness)

My car is auto, by the way.

When I get home in a few days, I'll send you the cruise schematics anyways. Maybe something you can use.

Heres a short vid of all the gauges working (AFR, CHT, IAT, OT).

I'm working now packaging all the electronics. I'm estimating $180 plus shipping. With availability starting middle of the week (Order plus 3 day lead time). The device is firmware upgradable, and development will continue.

I'm working on a few other things at the same time. Multi CAN interfaces (both HSCAN & MSCAN), with the ability to record & playback CAN data. Along with solid state switches for extras( like the pony lights, or aftermarket add ons).

I'm now researching the Track Apps, with no eta on it yet. I'm going to have to locate a VCMII for further research.

More to come.

Already got it pinned out! Was really easy to do, but a PITA to find pins that would fit in the switch part, ended up using computer parts lol.

Same here, I could care less about track APPS but the gauges are awsome.

Yes! Can connect via OBD port. However, based on current draw. I'm contemplating an optional signal wire. (Same as the blue trigger wire on audio amps.)

I'm also going to do a splice version for permanent install.

They are! Having AFR there live is really freaking cool.

I'm working on much more. But time is a limiting factor for me. :/

I got the buttons functioning. Its the light I have yet to address. I'll see what I can do on that this weekend.

I do not have tranny temp listed in mine. However, I know what command it needs.

Do you have a OBD scanner or LiveLink/X3 ? See if we can find the right pid.

Just noticed this:

A free replacement for IDS - 25% done. (Read U/P Codes, query modules, change asbuilt data, record PIDS/EPIDS. All for less than $150 in hardware!)

That sounds awesome!!

OK .. Install was a piece of cake. Lots of places to Tap the Bus but seemed like the Restraint Control Module in center console was easiest so I used that ...

1) Spliced into White and White/Blue wire on the RCM and soldered wires
2) Tapped into the Key ON power wire on the Auto Shifter harness for power
3) Used the nut holding the RCM module to the floor for ground.

There is plenty of room to fit the module inside the console right next to the RCM ... I do not show that in the pictures

Next I need to install the modified (thanks Zero) 2013 Cruise/OK button and the plain Headlight Switch bezel to get rid of the Setup switches.

Tranny temp, cruise light, and boost gauge should be done by next weekend. Its a lack of access to the right car at the moment.

I'm going to take a chance on track apps very soon, its going to require a somewhat large investment (on my part) for research and hardware. I'm going to make it work.. eventually.

Awesome! I'm glad it went easy!

Remember that you have to re-pin the connector for the 13' cruise switch, along with adding pins to the clockspring.

See post 154 and 234 of this thread for that.
