New windshield! It was broken by the accident, one more thing off the list.

Haven't been on the site for a bit. Had to catch up and start reading from page 32-33.

It was amazing to see your creation alive and running!

Thanks!

We are getting close to the maiden voyage of the ecostang. Lexiion has been over a few times working on the wiring, he thinks 2 more visits and we will be ready to drive the car. We've started the car and let it warm up several times, other than a couple of coolant drips that I think I've fixed there were no major issues. The air intake piping is all custom and the computer is having a hard time adjusting for it, the engine revs up some after letting off the gas. Matt will need to tune it for the intake piping but that can't be done until we data log during a test drive. We were told by the tuner that we needed to take it very easy on the first drive while data logging, so maybe a smokey burnout on the second drive after we get a revised tune

Hey Stephen,
I'm gonna claim more than a few of those views as I've been watching your progress daily from Australia.
I'm just beginning an Ecoboost install into a 1967 Fairmont (Australian build) having imported a 2012 F150EB as a donor car. Got a long way to go but have learned a lot from your experiences, and if having to go to work every **** day didn't suck up so much time I'd be a lot happier.
Congratulations on the job so far

Thanks man! Sounds like a cool project! If you got the entire vechicle and are running the auto trans it's not too hard. Welcome!

Check out my baller 3.5 fender badges! I decided against the "powered by ford" because they don't elude to the car having a V6. When I spank the V8s around here I want them to feel as bad as possible lol

How did I get these?????? Anyone want to guess

Love it. Because you just know someone in a 5.0 or Shelby is going to see that at a light and laugh.

Little do they know......

From fabrication to wiring to tuning, its all more than I can even ponder, and I used to consider myself fairly good at working on cars and putting engines together. But that was years ago, with old push rod motors and old school hot rodding. You guys have taken the art of hot rods to a new level that I can't even imagine doing myself, I'm just not smart enough or educated enough, and I'm probably too old to learn so I just sit and marvel at the skill you guys have acquired and put to use.

I ordered 2 turbo blankets and some heat wrap for the exhaust pipes. Wrapping the turbos is supposed to increase their efficiency by not letting the exhaust cool down until it's past the turbos, but it also keeps the heat down under the hood. I'm wrapping the exhaust pipes from the turbos to the cats, it's to keep the cats hot as possible. I'm worried I might not pass smog here in Colorado even though I bought 49 state legal cats.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm really proud of what we have done so far. We have a good team, lexiion is a really nice guy and I really appreciate all his help. Matt too, these guys are having as much fun as I am

The only difference between them to my advantage is a tune, smaller pulley, Cai, and 3.73 gears. So it should but the roads are too cold to find out, don't want this to happen lol
