The mysterious "I heard there will be no limit" but everyone that says that can't show a ford source. So, where did YOU hear it?

 

I remember this as well. It was on facebook during an online interview. I wanna say it was back in December or November. There were two people interviewed, one was the marketing VP and the other I'm not sure. I think by unlimited, they meant based on demand for the shelby. It seems they are building just enough as there is demand for with tribute to price/performance, etc. I only say that because there are still new 2012s available at great values.

I should try to find the exact quote, but I can't stand the thought of being on facebook that long.

There is no need for such effort. Your comments do not need to be collaborated with a company seal. This is no congressional hearing nor does the interogator have official credentials.

Ford will not flood the market but will build as many as production demands.

 

Plus one. This is a mass produced car and Ford is in the business to sell cars. Harley Davidson at one time was the master at controlling supply and now the bottom has fell out along with their resale prices. They still are the greatest marketing company that ever existed imo. Patience is the key. If your standing there with money in your pocket they will build you a GT500. Fear not that there will be shortage of these cars. As I recall more 03/04 Cobras were sold than 03/04 Mach 1s. And, you could buy one for about 27K new when all was said and done.

 

I enjoy my 5.0 everyday. A year or so from now, I will try to find a very slightly used 2013 gt500. Hopefully find one for a reasonable price.

If not, I will continue to drive and enjoy my 5.0. This has been a really good year for my business and the wifey has given the go ahead on a new one, but I just don't see 70k, when there is a good chance I will be able to find a one year old one for between 50 and 60 in a year or so.

Who can say, but ultimately it's not really important for me to have the newest and fastest today.

 

I like your thinking. I mean your wifey thinking. We know who the Boss is dont we...Ha, Ha... I am sure you will have one. Black with Black stripes is the one for me.

What color are you looking for? I first thought Black with Black stripes but, the Red Candy looks great. I plan to order in the Fall, maybe a 14MY. I want to see them in person first. This will be a keeper for me...Joseph...

 

I personally like the red candy on the GT500. Not as much as the color I went with but it really goes well with either white or black stripes, IMO.

 

The candy red is the best colour IMO

Same here. I like the Red Candy with white stripes. Something about that combo is just drop dead sexy to me.

i love the red/white stripe contrast- i just hate the rear blackout panel with the white stripes. i wish they could remove that and have a clean white stripe down it.

 

to put it lightly, you should find another dealer...you are doing yourself and everyone else a disservice. I got mine for MSRP back in march...just look harder

 

Let me rephrase it, I ORDERED one. I'm still looking around. It's gonna taKe at least 8 weeks before I might get the car, so I have some time. And hopefully my stocks will go up as well in the meantime, so my payments will be lower...
