2013 Shelby GT500 on eBay... Let the ADM's begin!
Its funny to see peoples thought process. This past weekend I was down in Ocean City Maryland for one of the east coasts largest car shows. Sheer awesome was it. Mustangs completely dominated all other models by far and there were thousands.
There were tons of Shelby, Gt500's. I got talking to Shelby owners at the mustang show cars and funny how them and the other owners of the high end mustangs take there cars out for car shows only or an occasional sunny day drive. Everybody talks about how the Shelby can perform great but they ain't track racing. They got a 3k braking system and the cars sit in a garage or drive on highway only. The car has a awesome suspension system that people drive on open highway and mostly straight. The 13 Gt500 goes 200 mph but who is doing 200 mph in them on American public roadways?
The stock GT 500 will out perform a 5.0 on a track or anywhere for that matter but for doing 99 percent of what Gt500 drivers do with the car, another model can be made just as fast for a fraction of the price. I didn't meet one Shelby owner that drove it for a daily driver or track race.

I think your paying for the name Shelby and Cobra and that enables Ford to charge 65 k plus for it. If Ford made a non Shelby Mustang with specs similar to a Gt500 then it would be considerable less. Ford could build a 5.0 with a super charger that gives 600 hp for around 40K
saw a silver one with red stripe today at my ford store. they are asking 75k. its a high option car but they are asking 10k over. they also have a ghig boss and a sby boss ls.

Here is the sticker for that GT500. Add $7k for ADM.
