Hey bud, the 2014 is the same as the 2013 is now. The all-new car will be a 2015 and I can almost guarantee there won't be a Shelby for the 1st model year. They always wait to bring out the highline models a year after the redesign.

Like I mentioned, the car I posted above, MSRP $65,460 the holdback is $1,960 give or take and the spread from MSRP to invoice is just over $4,800. So for the car my customer is getting, the total is under $7,000 profit at MSRP. I NEVER sell with an ADM. Its why my cars are all gone and I already sold my 1st 2014!
Thanks, Jeff - can't get more open that this post.

Indeed that is true...commodity costs are in a different place, in general, than before with the economic situation globally.

Jeff,

You are doing a great job on the forum. I knew that I could count on you to help me out, I don't post much, hardly at all as a matter of fact but felt I needed to give you some kudos. I would like to thank you in helping me get my 2014.

You are the man!

Now for the long wait, but it will be worth it.

Thanks

You have to remember that most dealers sell all the rest of their car a few hundred above invoice. They have an opportunity to make money. Its all about what the market will bear, if the car is priced to high people won't buy it and the dealers will adjust. I have no issues with dealers charging over MSRP. People say its greed, well what happens when the shoe is on the other foot and buyers are grinding the dealer down to where they are getting the car at invoice or below with holdbacks.

I appreciate the fact that Jeff doesn't do this at his dealership, but I wouldn't think anything less of him or his dealership if he did.
