Hey Deysha,
Based on what you're seeing on VIN pick vs build week, how many more weeks do I have to get a VIN before I am into a September delivery? Looking at the posted VIN/build dates, I think I am getting pretty close.
I ask because if the car does not get delivered before September, I will cancel the order and try again in March. A September delivery only gives me 3 - 4 weeks to enjoy a convertible before it goes into the garage for the winter. So I might as well wait instead of paying to have the car sit so soon.
If you can be honest in the open forum, fantastic, if not.. pm me.. I will not hold you liable

Thanks for your help Deysha. Can't wait for tomorrow when I can pick her up. it was pure torture just only being able to sit in the car and not drive it yesterday. It hadn't been through service for its delivery checkup yet. so I just got to sit in it and play with the sync system some. The sad thing is I am already buying items for it. I have purchased the tri-bar and pony for the fenders and smaller ones for the interior door pannels. I just ordered some hood struts and the engine cover. I have got to stop. For now at least.

Well she's home. Had all of 7 miles on her when i picked her up now has abut 37. I took it easy on the drive in and avgeraged 25 mpg on surface streets. After i took my dad for a ride can't say it was that high. Love that kick at ~3500 rpm. It is going to be hard to stay out of it. will post some pics tomorrow.

I think he's referring to a break-in period. I have only 70 miles on my car and I am also trying to behave myself, at least until I get to 250 to 500 miles.

well I haven't thought about that. I was refering to trying to keep the gas mileage in the twenties. I just love the kick you get around 3500 rpm. I would be in real trouble if I had a 5.0.

The salesman called this week and gave me a build date but I don't remember what it was. It was July twenty something. Does this mean the VIN and/or Window sticker are available?
I am working so much it is difficult to call him right now and I really don't want to be a pest. He can't change anything. But I want to be sure I make my deal breakers clear.
Salesman works for a different dealership than in the past. If they dealership puts a dealer emblem/sticker/whatever on that car I will not take it.
I am happy I will have a couple of months of nice weather before I have to park it for 5 months.
