I've had it since March 18, but not many opportunities to drive yet.

2014 Gt HP?

I have heard some manufatures under estimate the HP on cars.
This seems a little low? See if the state picks up on this when I file it.

All titles show SAE Horsepower, not RWHP. I think that's the difference causing your question. Hope that helps.

My background is electrical not mechanical. I think SAE is Gross HP at the motor. This would mean the motor is 42HP and has more like 38HP at the rear wheels. I think someone messed up and put the decimal point in the wrong spot.

Add another name to the list, here. Was in love with Betty Blue, but sadly she was totaled after doing her level best to make sure I was safe. Tested out a few other models but none of them really grabbed me, so last Saturday I put a deposit down on a 2014 Mustang GT Premium, 6 speed manual and decked out just the way I wanted it. Based on how I've been after just a few days, I tip my hat to the many who have come before me with their amazing patience in waiting.

I did have a question, though, on the whole order thing. The dealer printed out the Vehicle Order Confirmation, and my priority was 19 which I gather is "ok", but is it normal to have an order number of 0000?

Congrats on the new stang!
From what my dealer said order number does not matter. The order number is what the dealership assigns to the car. For example our Shelby's order number is 2014 just because that is the year of the car. The dealership can make up any 4 digit number they want.
However, the priority number should be lower than 19. A priority number of 10 or less is best. This means that a priority number of 10 or less has the best chance of being built. 19 may take longer. Contact your dealer and see if they can get the priority number lowered.

The same thing happened to me when I went in to order my car. The dealer and I built the car on the computer, late on a Friday. He printed out all of the information for me to review and confirm, and my order number was 0001. At that time he did not submit the final order to Ford yet. After the weekend, on Monday, he submitted the final order to Ford and a new 4 digit order number was generated. He explained that the 0001 was just a place holder until the order was finally submitted to Ford.

I don't know if this is the case for you. But maybe contact your dealer and see if you have a new order number.

After doing a little research I think each state may list it differently. Some call it Taxable Horsepower. I will be interested to know if a mistake was made.

Just wanted to post a heads up that on Fords website they now show Mustangs have a $1500 rebate and the interest rate on loans have gone down.

If you're waiting for your car to come you might be able to go back to your dealer and have the higher rebate locked in.

The rebate depends on where you live.

If color was fast, would it be blurry?
