the price guide should be out months before they start production so why on earth would you doubt it?

Production begins 2nd quarter. Shelby's as far as I know take longer to produce than normals stangs. Jeff or Brian will chime in soon. Not trying to be a douche, just thinking the dealer was pulling figures out of the air. Hopefully I'm wrong! I want mine ASAP

All Ford full-line dealers will have the opportunity to enroll in the Shelby GT500 Dealer Certification Program for the 2013MY. Every dealer enrolled in the program will be eligible for (1) Shelby GT500. The remaining allocation will be assigned based on 2011CY retail sales (Share of Nation Mustang).

Question

UltraKla$$ic, I have a question for you. What is the 46D on the sheet in your photo ? Is that a tape stripe delete ? If it is, what stripe is deleted ?

they automatically put that on all GT orders, don't know why since there's no stripe to delete

Go reorder your mustang. Your sales man is an ignoramus.

Brian, thanks for the reply. In order for me to go armed, is there a "name" or something for this incentive? I'd like to approach this with a bit of insight. If you would feel more comfortable PM'ing, I'd appreciate it.

^This was posted by Brian last friday. I really dont kno how it works yet because my dealer wont order my car till they have a price list but I cant see how your salesman went through the whole ordering process and didnt stumble across these incentives somewhere along the line. All i can say is call your salesman right away and let him know. Its probably easiest to just reorder the entire car at this point. Let us know how it goes bud.

Sounds like they are doing more system maintenance. Most likely there will be new information on Monday morning. I look at the quote as a positive.

The stick is a blast. I'm a gear junkie (had 4.10's in my '07 GT and 4.30's in my '03 Mach 1, for example). I've been considering 4.56's for my '11 GT lately, since it's a street/strip car, but even 3.55's are decent gearing for spirited driving. You're gonna love your '13!!!

The $1,000 rebate is good on '13 V6 & GT's, retail & stock units, purchased/ordered by April 2nd.

Yes, it is system maintenance. I should have included more of the memo to clarify better. Ford is overhauling some of the dealer portal this weekend.

2012 INCENTIVE PROTECTION PROGRAM (PGM #33838) (NATIONAL)

Ford Division is announcing the 2012 Incentive Protection Program, effective January 4, 2012 which allows dealers the ability to protect certain incentives eligible at the time of Order.

Customers who order any eligible vehicle during the program period are eligible to have their Cash rebates OR their payments protected at the levels in effect at the time of their order. An additional provision allows scheduled stock orders to be converted to protected retail customer orders.

If Incentive Protection is needed a dealer must complete the following steps for each transaction to be eligible:

- Dealers must submit the online Incentive Protection claim to Program Headquarters within 30 days of the vehicle sale date.

- Dealers will then be advised to claim the current programs in addition to the Incentive Protection program (#33838).

Cash Transactions:

Ford will offer Cash customers the option to receive Incentive Protection on the Cash Rebates in effect at the time of order if they are more favorable than delivery. Please refer to the list of Eligible Programs to ensure Protection capability. If, at the time of delivery the cash rebates are more favorable than when the vehicle was ordered, no action is required.

Every Cash Transaction is required to provide the following documents for claim eligibility: (For Dealers in California, refer to required documents listed below)

- DORA or Screen Shot of Vehicle Order Confirmation

- Signed & Dated Purchase Agreement/Bill of Sale/Lease Agreement from the Date of Delivery

- Buyer's Order from the Date of Order

- AXZD Plan Pricing Agreement form (If transaction is an AXZD Plan Customer)

- Screen Print of SMART VINCENT print showing the cash rebates at the time of order and the time of delivery. Dealer's are responsible to ensure that all Sensitive Customer Information such as: Social Security
Number, Birth Date, Driver's License Number or any other personal information is blocked on all uploaded files.

Considering 2013 but need to sell my 2010

Hey thinking of getting a 2013 GT but need to sell my 2010 Black GT premium first. Anyone in the long Island area looking for a mint 2010 with only 9K good weather miles on it? (never been out in rain/snow etc) I have it listed on Auto trader (AT Car ID: AT-1284EB14) for $25,999 with Escort 9500CI Laser/Radar detector/Jammer (VIN 1ZVBP8CH2A5139682)

Send me a PM if you are interested
