Thanks for that work, I kind of like the look of the wheel but it confirms my fear about the 18 inch is going to look odd on a fox body car. I have no choice, it is either 18 inches or bigger to clear the brakes, Gee, I always thought bigger was better well at least that is what alot of the emails I get say lol.

did a bit of research while waiting for the engine to get here. To the best info I found the stock 3.3 200 cubic inch 6 cyl weighs 385 lbs. The new coyote 5.0 weighs 444lbs. So if this accurate the difference is 59 lbs. I figure the suspension will save me that and some change. I also noticed dry weight for this car stock is 2611 lbs. I knew this car was light. Of course this is all theory as reality it might be different. If this is the case I think this car should be around factory weight maybe lighter with the suspension mods. If this car is under 2800 lbs which it looks like it is, this thing is going to be alot of fun with 412 horse. lol I guess I really wasn't after weight related situations instead more performance, handling and reliability and some mpg. I am thinking I nailed it. First time for everything lol.

I was able to get new spindles from my ford dealer. I am running 2004 spindles, I guess the 96-2004 are identical and the 94-95 are the same. I got them for $250 each and then the hubs and etc was like another $150 to make them complete. I also bought a starter from ford. A few of my local buddies think I was crazy for buying new spindles but I figured why put on used 200,000 miled spindles when I can have new to match everything else. With my luck I figured I better put the new ones on or used ones will break on me lol. If anyone wants to suggest wheel patterns pelase feel free to, I am a bit stuck .

The engine control pack is found. That is making feel better, waiting on the transmission package though. I also contacted Dakota Digital about making a custom guage package. They can do it for $1100 with senders and it fits in the stock bezel. That I think is how i am going. I also contacted Boze wheels and am getting a price from them. I will post a pic of the wheel I am consdiering from Boze

The control pack came in today. The wiring part is pretty detailed but there are no instructions for the rest which I think is not good. I can figure it out I am sure but one would think you would get some instruction on where the other parts go. The alternator had no instructions what so ever either. I did figure it out where it went but I didnt know how to put the belt on till I saw another guy's build so I could see how he did it. Simple pictures and single page directions would be a plus FORD!.

Does anyone know if KOOKS header company is in trouble or something? I tried to contact them and cant get through. I am looking for swap headers and I know BBK is going to have their's around the first of march which isnt far but 1 would think as popular as this swap is sounding that alot of companies would be making them.

As light as this car will be, I'd suggest going as large as possible with the primaries as possible...........1 7/8 with 3in collectors.
It won't matter much if you lose a little bottom end TQ with as light as it will be and this engine really shines in the upper end with large primaries.

The engine is going to get delivered today, or at least the freight company called this morning and said we have a delivery from Ford.
