They seem to be in really good condition. And since they're progressive, the ride will be pretty good on the street, even it they're stiffer than the bullit springs. Nice find Pete.

Picking up some new (to me) tail pipes. They are just stockers with cherry bombs which are definitely not my first choice, but for $20 it's hard to complain.

And the Watts. I just can not imagine that that little hump will go over all the stuff I have there. One of the "benefits" of the EVM was that it could be used with unmodified stock exhaust. I just don't know how the heck you were supposed to get that unmodified stock exhaust back on the car without dropping the watts.

Cherrybombs are not bad, those look a lil small though... the longer ones sound better i think.

Yeah, no more side exhaust. I need to have subframe connectors to eventually get a torque arm, and I need rear exit exhaust to have subframe connectors. So I could either have the look I want, or the suspension I want. I just wish I would have realized my "goal" sooner so I wouldn't have the Borlas to begin with.

Since they are straight through mufflers, I'm more scared of getting pulled over than the tone of them. Are they legal?

Those things are helluva loud. And the sound is meh. Like an old van with a rusted through muffler Get some universal Borla mufflers or other ones you like.

That's the plan. I don't think catback helps enough on these cars to pay the enormous price. Just getting some mufflers after I get the exhaust fit around the watts... Or maybe I'll cut the glass packs out, to make it a little easier to place the humps where they need to be, then fit the pipes to the new mufflers.

Alright, well I just got a new job which should get the mod money rolling in pretty soon, so I decided to compile a list of wishful thoughts so I have a goal to work toward.

Let's start with suspension.

I looked through the Griggs and MM catalogs to see the price difference, and there really isn't as much as I had thought in most cases. But because of location, I've decided that buying from MM would be a much smarter choice, since I could pick it up and have $40 spent for gas, rather than hundreds wasted on shipping.

Torque arm kit 450
Subframe connector 130
Rear control arms height adj 380
Rear control arms non height adj 250
Bumpsteer(not sure I really need it...) 150
k member 650* maybe...

Drivetrain:
Motor and tranny mounts
Short throw shifter
Aluminum driveshaft?

Body:
Paint
Driver's side fender
Front bumper cover

I think that's all I want... Hopefully.

Do you go to Maier Racing for your MM stuff? I originally wanted the Spintech side exit exhaust on my car, but SFCs were one of the first thing I did so it was out. I wish Jegs/Summit still carried the 'Force' mufflers, as they were only $35/piece and sounded similar to Bassani (IMO), while being constructed better than Flowmaster.

Late Model Restoration has the 94-98 Cobra front bumper cover for like $200 I believe, but I would get the ABC one with the lip. And trust me, you'll need the bumpsteer kit if you're going to go lower. Once I get a new job, I'm going to finish my car once and for all. And I'm going to drop it off at Maier and have the MM book thrown at it!
