Found a pic on an article about the swap on where the spindle needs to be grinded for the calipers to fit. Red line where there's interference and blue line the material to be cut.
Ordered a head gasket set because most probably one of the head gaskets was incorrectly installed and is causing the weird symptoms the motor has. And also I scored this:
I made some good progress today. Just need to remove the headers and valve covers to unbolt the heads off the block. Then the long proces of cleaning the mating surfaces an re-assemble everything back.

Cylinder heads and rockers are installed. I also got rid of the thermactor tubes that were doing nothing. I just cut the metal tubes from the junctions on the heads and flipped them. And for sealing them, i used a section from the discarded head gaskets
It's a shame I'm broke atm so I couldn't replace them with roller rockers
Fired up the engine. There's white smoke and an oily residue from the passenger side exhaust (where the gasket was installed incorrectly) and isn't idling right. Pretty frustrated right now.
And the shift kit arrived today.

I went at the car again and figured out the unsteady idle it had. The vacum hose junction below the alternator was unhooked and the egr and fpr hoses were mixed up. Now it purrs like a big kitten lol. The oil getting off the passenger tailpipe is still an issue, but since I put 5w30 oil in the crankcase and the piston rings must have suffered a bit for the head gasket issue must be going past them. I'll just put 20w50 oil as it had that on the begining.
